● NVIDIA GB200 AI Server Makes a Debut, Made by Foxconn

Under the spotlight of the tech industry, NVIDIA has recently unveiled its latest masterpiece-the GB200 NVL72 artificial intelligence (AI) server. This high-performance server, manufactured by Foxconn, has garnered widespread attention from the industry upon its release. According to Foxconn, the GB200 is in high demand and the company plans to increase its investment, expecting a revenue growth of over 40% in the AI server sector this year.

The success of GB200 is not a coincidence. Since NVIDIA launched the Blackwell architecture AI GPU chip series, Foxconn has leveraged its exceptional production capabilities to be included in the first batch of partners for NVIDIA's "strongest chip" GB200. It is reported that the latest super AI server DGX GB200 is expected to enter mass production in the second half of this year and will be shipped in the form of server racks, with an expected order volume of up to 50,000 racks, contributing to a revenue of 2.5 to 3 trillion New Taiwan dollars.

● Sharp and KDDI Collaborate, Transform into NVIDIA AI Data Center

Sharp Corporation and Japanese telecommunications operator KDDI have also announced a significant collaboration. The two parties plan to transform Sharp's Sakai factory into an artificial intelligence (AI) data center powered by NVIDIA's advanced chips. This transformation will not only bring new development opportunities for Sharp but also provide strong support for NVIDIA's layout in the AI field.

It is reported that Sharp and KDDI have already started negotiations with partners including Japanese system developer Datasection, planning to establish a joint venture for the data center. The data center will be equipped with 1000 servers using NVIDIA's next-generation GPUs (such as the Blackwell series), which will be procured through Datasection and supported by American server manufacturer Super Micro Computer. In the future, this data center will provide developers of large language models with powerful computing capabilities.

● IM Motors Automobile Leads the Solid-State Battery Revolution

In the field of new energy vehicles, IM Motors Automobile has also brought exciting news. IM Motors Automobile co-CEO Liu Tao revealed at the Future Automobile Pioneer Conference that the Light-Year solid-state battery, jointly developed by SAIC Group and Qingtao Energy, will enter mass production and be installed in vehicles in October this year. This battery uses inorganic oxide solid-state electrolyte, which is not flammable at high temperatures and demonstrates ultra-fast charging performance under a quasi-900-volt high-voltage architecture. Its peak charging power is as high as 400 kW, and it can increase the vehicle's driving range by 400 kilometers in just 12 minutes.

In addition, Liu Tao also disclosed the progress of the fully dry all-solid-state battery. Currently, the battery has entered a 500-day countdown phase and is expected to be used in conjunction with a 21,000-revolution hurricane motor, enabling the IM Motors L6 all-wheel drive performance model to achieve a maximum driving range of over 1000 kilometers. This technological breakthrough will bring revolutionary changes to the new energy vehicle industry.

Samsung Electronics Strike, Will Not Affect Memory Chip Production

Despite Samsung Electronics currently facing a deadlock in negotiations with its employee union and planning a one-day strike on June 7, TrendForce analysis indicates that the strike will not have any impact on the production of DRAM and NAND Flash, nor will it lead to a shortage of shipments. This news is undoubtedly good news for the global chip market.

Xiaomi Automobile , Reducing the Big Order Locking Hesitation Period to 3 Days

Against the backdrop of increasingly fierce competition in the new energy vehicle market, Xiaomi Automobile has also taken active measures to improve delivery speed. Starting from June 5, Xiaomi Automobile will reduce the big order locking hesitation period from 7 days to 3 days (72 hours) to accelerate the efficiency of matching big orders with production. This move will help users who have locked their orders to receive their cars faster, further consolidating Xiaomi Automobile's position in the new energy vehicle market.
