Maxim Integrated Products

Introducing the MAX20075, a highly integrated, high-efficiency, automotive-grade, synchronous step-down buck converter. The MAX20075 operates over a wide input voltage range from 3.5V to 36V and delivers up to 3A of continuous output current. This device utilizes an adaptive constant-on-time (ACCOT) control architecture, which enables ultra-fast transient response and reduces the number of output capacitors, resulting in reduced overall solution size and cost. With integrated FETs, it operates at high efficiency over a wide load range, making it an ideal solution for automotive applications such as infotainment systems, center stack displays, and HVAC systems. The MAX20075 also offers robust protection features including input undervoltage lockout, overvoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown, ensuring reliable operation in harsh automotive environments. Additionally, it is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified and operates over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range, making it suitable for automotive applications.
