The ADSP-BF703BBCZ-4 is a low-power, 400MHz BLACKFIN+ embedded processor featuring 256KB of L2 SRAM and DDR2/LPDDR interfaces. This processor is designed 

for high-performance signal processing applications and offers a range of features that make it suitable for a variety of embedded systems. The ADSP-BF703BBCZ-4 

boasts a Blackfin+ core that integrates a 16-bit dual MAC, 32-bit MAC, and 16-bit complex MAC to form a sophisticated signal processing engine. The processor also 

includes a clean and orthogonal RISC-style microprocessor instruction set combined with SIMD multimedia capabilities within a single instruction set architecture. Additionally, it has enhancements like cache, branch prediction, and other architectural improvements while maintaining instruction set compatibility with previous 

Blackfin products. It operates at a speed of up to 400 MHz and has a low system power consumption of less than 100 mW at TJUNCTION of 25°C .

ADSP-BF703BBCZ-4 Features:

· On-chip memory including 136KB L1 SRAM with multi-bit parity protection (64KB instruction, 64KB data, 8KB scratchpad), 256KB on-chip L2 SRAM with ECC 

protection, and 512KB on-chip L2 ROM.

· L3 interface offering a 16-bit interface with DDR2 or LPDDR SDRAM devices (up to 200 MHz frequency).

· Key peripherals include USB2.0 HS OTG, 2x CAN2.0B, ePPI video I/O, 2x SPORT (with I2S), 2x four-channel SPI/1x dual-channel SPI (with host mode option), I2C, 

2x UART, SD/SDIO/MMC (8-bit), and a four-channel, 12-bit, 1MSPS ADC.

· Security and one-time programmable memory with encryption hardware accelerator for fast secure boot/IP protection and memDMA encryption/decryption for 

rapid runtime security.
