The ATXMEGA128A1U-AU is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit (or 16-bit, depending on configuration and usage) AVR microcontroller manufactured by Microchip
Technology (formerly Atmel). It has up to 32MHz operating frequency, 128KB of internal flash memory and 8KB of SRAM memory. The microcontroller comes with 78
universal I/O lines and supports a variety of communication interfaces, including eight USART, one USB 2.0, four SPI and four I2C and SMBus interfaces. In addition, it
includes AES and DES encryption engines, two 12-bit, 16-channel A/D converters and two 12-bit, two-channel D/A converters. The ATXMEGA128A1U-AU operates in
a voltage range of 1.6V to 3.6V and a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C in a 100-pin TQFP package.
