The LAN9512-JZX-TR is a high-performance USB 2.0 hub and 10/100 Ethernet controller offered by Microchip Technology. This chip is designed to provide a high-performance, low-cost solution for USB/Ethernet and USB/USB connectivity in a variety of applications, including embedded systems, desktop PCs, notebook PCs, printers, game consoles, and docking stations. The LAN9512-JZX-TR integrates a USB 2.0 hub with two downstream USB 2.0 PHYs and one upstream USB 2.0 PHY, along with a 10/100 Ethernet PHY and a 10/100 Ethernet Controller. It is fully compliant with the Universal Serial Bus Specification Revision 2.0 and supports High-Speed (480 Mbps), Full-Speed (12 Mbps), and Low-Speed (1.5 Mbps) USB devices. The device also includes a TAP controller, an EEPROM controller, and GPIOs for additional functionality.
