The NCS5651MNTXG is a high-efficiency, Class A/B, low distortion power line communication (PLC) line driver designed for use in applications such as advanced metering

infrastructure and automatic meter reading systems. It features rail-to-rail output swing, capable of driving up to 2 Amps peak into an isolation transformer or simple coil

coupling to the mains. The device is equipped with operational amplifiers and offers current limit, programmable with a single resistor, along with diagnostic flags for

thermal warning and error management. With a power supply voltage range of 6V to 12V and an extended junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, the

NCS5651MNTXG comes in a 20-lead QFN package with an exposed thermal pad for enhanced thermal reliability.

NCS5651MNTXG Features:

- Rail-to-rail output swing, dropping only ±1V with an output current of 1.5A

- Wide power supply voltage range of 6V to 12V

- Capable of delivering up to 2A peak into an isolation transformer or coil

- Provides a current limit that can be set with a single resistor

- Includes diagnostic flags for overcurrent and thermal warnings, enhancing system reliability

- Small form factor with a 20-lead QFN package, facilitating thermal management

NCS5651MNTXG Applications:

This device is designed to meet the requirements of the CENELEC standard for power line signaling, making it suitable for various PLC applications where reliability and

 efficiency are critical.

- As a PLC driver in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and automatic meter reading (AMR) systems

- Driving valves, actuators, and motors in industrial controls

- Audio amplification in consumer electronics
