TCAN1145DMTRQ1 -- 1/1 Transceiver Half CANbus 14-VSON

The TCAN1145DMTRQ1 is a high-speed, enhanced CAN FD transceiver designed for automotive and industrial applications.  It supports data rates up to 5 Mbps and is compliant with the ISO 11898-2:2016 standard.  The device features a selective wake function, allowing systems to implement partial networking and operate with reduced active nodes while others remain in low-power sleep mode.  It supports a wide operating voltage range of 5 to 28 V and provides ±58-V bus fault protection and ±12-V common-mode voltage. The TCAN1145DMTRQ1 transceiver is qualified for automotive applications, meeting AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standards, and is available in a compact 14-pin VSON package.


The transceiver device is configured using a serial peripheral interface (SPI), enabling access to full functionality and supporting processor IO voltages from 1.8 V to 5 V.  This flexibility allows the use of low-power processors, making it suitable for energy-efficient designs.  Additionally, it offers advanced features such as watchdog functionality, bus fault diagnostics, and programmable INH/LIMP pins for enhanced system reliability and debugging capabilities.
